Getting to Morzine
Driving
At only a 9 hour drive from Calais, Morzine is one of the closest resorts to the UK. In the Alps, it is obligatory to carry a set of snow chains, a hazard triangle and at least 2 high visibility vests. If using the motorway, tolls add up to about 65 euros each way - credit cards accepted at the booths.
Car Hire/Transfers
If hiring a car at the airport, book it on the Swiss side. To exit the airport, follow the signs to France and then once through the Swiss customs point, continue onto the A40, signposted towards Chamonix. To Morzine

Follow the A40 motorway until Cluses, go through Cluses taking the D902 to Taninges. Turn right at the T junction in Taninges and thne first left to climb up the valley heading to Les Gets. Continue through Les Gets to Morzine where you will reach a roundabout, continue straight on into Morzine Village. Follow the signs to Avoriaz, the Pleney slopes are to your right go straight on at the next roundabout under the bridge and down to the river where there is another roundabout. Take the first exit and immediately on the first switchback corner go right, to the Vallee de La Manche. Continue for 2kms until you come to a yellow 'Avalanche' sign Chalet Hector is the 2nd chalet on the left just past the sign staying on the main road. For Chalet Framboise take a left opposite the sign, up a little track and it is the third building on the right.
Flights
Geneva airport is just 70 minutes by car. Many airlines fly into Geneva including Easyjet which offers daily flights from Liverpool, East Midlands, Luton, Newcastle and Gatwick. Take advantage of midweek flights for massive savings and call us to discuss your requirements (non-peak weeks).
