Morzine is ideally located in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, still the largest linked ski area in Europe, offering 650 kms of marked ski runs, spread over 14 valleys connecting the French and Swiss borders. It's short distance from Geneva (1hr 10mins), makes it a popular choice for savvy skiers, wishing to optimize their ski time.

Straddling the picturesque River Dranse, traditional barns, and alpine chalets, noticeable by their slate roofs, nestle on the Valley floor, at the foot of stunning, tree-lined descents. Skiers return direct into town, where a combination of bars and restaurants combine with pavement cafés and local craft shops creating the perfect alpine ambience.

Morzine has a raft of facilities for skiers and non-skiers alike: 2 cinemas, an indoor and outdoor ice-rink, 3 supermarkets and a weekly market offering local specialities.
